Montana State Senator Barry Usher used his Twitter account to remind voters about the state’s primary election and encourage participation. In a series of posts on June 1 and June 2, Usher provided information on voting procedures and emphasized the significance of the primary.

Shortly after midnight on June 2, he shared an article highlighting the importance of the primary: “Why Tuesday’s primary matters — maybe even more than November  https://t.co/YBK2r8sF5w via @MTFreePress” (June 2, 2026).

Later that day, Usher reiterated his message and made a direct appeal to voters: “ELECTION DAY!

Primary elections in Montana determine which candidates will represent their parties in the general election. Voters can participate at polling locations from early morning until evening and must present valid identification when voting in person. Absentee ballots must be hand-delivered if not mailed ahead of deadlines.

Usher currently represents Senate District 19 and has previously highlighted his legislative experience as part of his campaign messaging.
