City of Glasgow issued the following announcement on Feb 28.
The summit organised by Glasgow City Council took place on 25 February in the SEC. There was a strong attendance from Glasgow’s business community and it saw the launch of a revitalized Sustainable Glasgow Partnership.
Councillor Susan Aitken, Leader of Glasgow City Council, focused on shared ambitions for businesses across the city. These included, achieving carbon neutrality by 2030, promoting a suitable future for Glasgow and delivering a legacy as a result of hosting COP26.
Circular Glasgow was in attendance offering advice to businesses who are looking to learn how they can become more circular in order to contribute to the Council’s sustainably agenda.
The Sustainable Glasgow Partnership, formed in 2010, delivers diverse projects across the city. Aiming to improve the quality of living, boost the local economy and promote innovative environmental growth.
The initiative cooperates with partners from housing, communities, business, universities, enterprise and education.
