Matt Rosendale, auditor for the state of Montana, paid a visit to the community members of the Havre district to outline his future plans for Congress and outline his achievements as the state auditor, according to Harve Daily News.

Republican Rep. Matt Rosendale, endorsed by President Donald Trump, is running for the election to the U.S. House as a representative of  Montana and is contested by Debra Lamm, Joe Dooling, John Evankovich, and Mark McGinley.

Rosendale told the group in the Duck Inn Vineyard Room Wednesday about his work as auditor.

While addressing the community members of Havre about his tenure as the auditor of the state, Rosendale mentioned that his main focus was on four basic subjects: reducing healthcare costs, bringing down regulations, reducing the scope and size of the government and to cut down the cost of the office. He continued to work for these said subjects throughout his time in office, he noted.

As soon as Rosendale stepped into the office, his first achievement was to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for workers by downsizing the average compensation insurance of workers.

The second goal was to reduce the cost of healthcare. “We faced these enormous increases in premiums and the day I stepped into the office I made it my motto to reduce the healthcare costs all across the state of Montana,” he said.

The State Auditor explained that his office developed a model for affordable healthcare and implemented it, which moved the healthcare situation in Montana to “a very good spot”.

“We have set up nine primary healthcare facilities in different districts all across the state that will cater to the daily healthcare needs of the communities and have effectively downsized the prices of prescription drugs," he further added.

Another major breakthrough was to set up the Senior Living Task Force and train the state sheriffs to recognize the signs of exploitation of Senior officials by various forces, in an effort to help the officials to perform their duties without any undue pressures.

“I’ve got a goal and I get things done," said Rosendale, "The President has given me his blessings and our goals are on the top of his agenda."
