Join us virtually on Friday, April 24th, 2020 at 2pm for an Archaeology Jump Talk and Q&A to wrap up Montana Archaeology Month! Our panelists include Dr. Jack Fisher and Dr. Rachel Reckin who will be speaking about the archaeological investigations done at First Peoples Buffalo Jump.

Dr. Jack Fisher is an archaeologist, and is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at Montana State University. He has carried out archaeological research in the Great Plains and Rocky Mountains of Montana for over 40 years. He also collaborates with archaeologists in South Africa on research into Stone Age people of the Western Cape region of South Africa.
Dr. Rachel Reckin is the Heritage Resources Program Manager for Montana State Parks. She previously worked for the U.S. Forest Service and Park Service as an archaeologist, and received her PhD in archaeology from the University of Cambridge in 2018. Rachel is a proud native of Libby, Montana.
