Joy DePuydt, a member of Phillips County Farm Bureau, is among the 2020 graduates of Montana Farm Bureau’s ACE program.
“All of the ACE participants invested much of their time, energy and talent into becoming stronger leaders,” ACE Coordinator Chelcie Cargill said in a post on the Montana Farm Bureau Federation website. “They worked hard to build leadership and communication skills that will help create positive and lasting connection with people outside of agriculture. It was an honor to work with each of them and I’m excited to see them put their skills and talents to use in their own communities and for Montana agriculture.”
DePuydt was one of eight graduates of the ACE program which focuses on leadership development, engaging local communities and advocacy. She resides in Saco and operates a cattle and crop farm alongside her husband and family.
The other ACE graduates are Dominique Woodham of Sweet Grass County Farm Bureau, Ed Bandel of Chouteau County Farm Bureau, Katharine Taylor of Gallatin County Farm Bureau, Doreen McClure and Kris Descheemaeker of Fergus County Farm Bureau, Mary Hill of Judith Basin County Farm Bureau and Pam Converse of Front Range County Farm Bureau.
