Cell Phones Will Not Be Allowed in Learning Environment at Scobey Schools

At Scobey Schools, we believe that learning the responsible use of technology has become an integral part of the educational process. Scobey Schools is fortunate enough to be able to provide all the necessary electronics for students to be successful in school. Unfortunately, cell phones have become a major distraction to students' learning and success and have created additional classroom management issues for our staff. For this reason, cell phones will NOT be allowed in any classroom or learning environment at Scobey Schools. If students bring cellphones to school they are to remain in their lockers from 8:20-3:30 Monday-Thursday and 8:20-2:25 on Fridays. A great resource for why we are implementing a no cell phone policy can be found at https://www.awayfortheday.org/. Feel free to check it out.
