76.5% of Valley County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 7,553 citizens living in Valley County in 2021, 76.5% were old enough to vote, equating to 5,781 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 2,893 were male, constituting 50%, and 2,888 were female, making up 50%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Valley County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 78.4%.
