12.7% of Roosevelt County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Roosevelt County recorded an unemployment rate of 12.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 537 people out of the 10,884 living in Roosevelt County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Roosevelt County has increased compared to the 10.7% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Roosevelt County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.
